The Fruit of Patience

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.  Galatians 6:9

It is so easy to forget about all the seeds one has planted over the years.  Those we don't forget are usually the ones who in the words of Jesus' parable in Matthew 13 that fall on stony ground, are eaten by birds, wither away for lack of depth or are choked out by the cares of life.  Amazing how we focus on the seeds that at the moment seem to be unproductive.

I want to encourage you to focus for a moment on the few seeds that have taken root and are producing a great harvest, often a hidden harvest.  One seed can produce more than all of the other seeds combined!  It only takes one to make a difference that will produce a harvest of thousands. 

In 2002 I was a part of the Call Brasilia in Brazil.  I had traveled for several weeks planting seeds to raise up a generation of youth who would sell out to God to see transformation come to their nation.  When the day came for the Call there was a small turn out comparatively speaking.  Many of the Pastors who had promised to be there decided instead to support local politicians that could help their churches.  This kind of thing goes on all the time.  We enjoyed an amazing day with God confirming the time of prayer with rain.  It never rains in September in Brasilia.  I have to say that we were thankful for all that God did, but disappointed because our expectations were not met.  But seeds had been planted!!!

I just received a report from Brazil that after 10 years God has done amazing things.  This report comes from Josimar Salum who was responsible for the Call Brasilia and sacrificed greatly to see it happen.

In September of 2002 we launched a prophetic prayer youth movement to reach youth all over Brazil. This followed The Call New England I helped Lou Engle organize in Boston along with  many others. The Call Brasilia - Brazil birthed a John the Baptist movement to prepare the youth of Brazil for the Apostolic.
 
One of the strategies we had along with my friend apostle Paul Taylor was to reach out the High Schools and Colleges.
 
They should pray every day in their schools and should adopt a school or college to pray and reach their youth for Jesus Christ and His Kingdom.
 
They went further. They did great works.
 
A magazine, well known in Brazil, published to millions of readers a report on them few years ago: JESUS GOES TO SCHOOL.
 
The Governor of Brasilia read their history and asked to participate in the following week in one of their meetings. The result was that dozens of businessmen adopted schools and gave more $100.000.00 for each of them, remodeled them, improved their conditions and the first church in a school in Brazil was born with hundreds of young people meeting every week to worship Yeshua, the King of kings.
 
A young apostle Alessandro and his brother Gustavo, a younger apostle, who embraced the message of The Call in 2002 with their group called "A New Generation". Since then they have been traveling all over the country ministering to all kinds of audiences. They even played a big role in the following The Calls Brazil.
 
Wherever they go, with other young leaders in Brazil, miracles, signs and wonders happen. A new song has risen in Brazil. A new dance has been enjoyed by the sons of God. A song and a dance of Supernatural, because our Jesus is Supernatural, He is all Powerful and He really means business.
 
Literally the dead has been raised, the blind see, the lame walk and thousands of people all over Brazil are being born again. It is Acts of Apostles being played again over and over. It is a Jesus Revolution to overturn the powers of darkness all over the territory of Brazil and established the Kingdom of God."

The fruit of patience is powerful. Be encouraged because there is a hidden harvest that is taking place that cannot be stopped!  His Kingdom is coming and His will is being done on earth as it is in heaven!!!  Don't get weary, be patient!  Your destiny is coming to pass.

CHAMPIONS WITH DESTINY

For years I have been praying to raise up young men and women who would be champions in this generation bringing transformation that would change lives in families, regions, and nations.  I am so proud to announce that I am launching a site to compliment "The Voice of Destiny" called "Champions with Destiny."

The LORD is with me like a dread champion;
      Therefore my persecutors will stumble and not prevail.
      They will be utterly ashamed, because they have failed,
      With an everlasting disgrace that will not be forgotten.

Here they are.  Some of the most amazing men and women you will ever meet.  41 students from the 17 Provinces of Burundi Africa.  Really these are only a part of the army that God is raising up.  There are champions from Nigeria, Brazil and the USA. 

Here is one of their testimonies.

Since 1993 my parents have been attacked by aids.  After two years my father died.  As children we were left with our mother.  I am one of 3 children.  Because I'm the first son I said that it was the end of all our lives, but we kept praying. GOD kept us even when there was no hope.  It didn't stop God from making us successful in what we were doing.  I don't want to waste your time because it is a long story but in everything God has been with my family and me.  My mother is alive even though she still has AIDS.

Before you taught us the second session in which you talk about “How to Fail Forward.”  I was without hope because whatever I did failed and I would abandon immediately what I was doing.  But after learning the examples of some of those whom the journey was not easy such as

Your Story

It is amazing how one verse of scripture can stick with you for weeks.  It is God's profound way of speaking to us.  Don't tell me that God doesn't speak.  Loud and clear He pierces my soul with His truth.  It straightens me up from the weight of the world on my shoulders and causes me to realize that there is more to life than what I see.

Psalm 18:24 The Message version says, "God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes."  Why would God rewrite my life?  Because He doesn't like the story that I am telling!  What we speak we believe! 

The definition of the word "text" is the original words of an author or speaker, as opposed to a translation, paraphrase, commentary, or the like.  He is the original author and He has quite a different story to tell concerning my life.  In Psalm 18 David had just been delivered from all his enemies including Saul.  It had been years that he had been estranged from his family, friends, and his version of what he thought his life should be.  There had to be lots of times when he thought his life was over.  I can hear him, "This whole God-thing was a joke.  Anointed king, right!" 

Something happened.  He changed his position by opening the book of his heart.  All of a sudden he began to see from God's position.  Heart healed, hate released, vision renewed all by seeing from God's perspective.  God's original story is so much better than mine.  God writes an adventure with more twists and turns than I could ever imagine.  He is the greatest author there is if you will let Him write the story that was penned in God before the foundation of the world.  It is your story and He loves to tell it.  All you have to do is live it!  Who doesn't want to live the dream?  The truth is, it is real and it is your story!
