I always go to the Lord for a word for the New Year! I can only briefly share what I sense the Lord is saying for the upcoming year. I encourage you to read Exodus 28:33-35 that concerns Aaron's robe as the high priest. God is speaking to me about the power, position and place of our intercession. There are some things that we have already received and will see them come to past in 2012. There are other things that we must speak to possess them this year and in the years to come!
And upon its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet, all around its hem, and bells
of gold between them all around: 34a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate,
upon the hem of the robe all around. 35And it shall be upon Aaron when he ministers, and its sound will be heard when he goes into the holy place before the Lord and when he comes out, that he may not die.
The emphasis is on God needing to hear the sound of the bells on Aaron's robe or he would die. If you read it in the KJV it actually says, "his (Aaron) sound shall be heard." The word "sound" in the Hebrew means to call, cry, to proclaim, and thundering voice!
Those bells distinguish the person as being the High Priest.
Those bells determine his right to access the Holy of Holies.
God listens to the sound of the bells and grants atonement to the High Priest because of his position granted by God himself!
I believe it is very important that we as kings and priests unto God take our rightful place in 2012 and decree the word of the Lord. It is the Word of the Lord that brings order in the spiritual world and is manifested in the natural world. I believe in the power of His Word to order my life! God waits for us to ring the bell in 2012! Your sound as priest must be heard in the heavenlies. Remember you are wearing the robe of His righteousness. It is part of your divine purpose in God and is necessary if we are to have dominion in our own lives as well as in the world around us!
Here are a few interesting notes concerning bells.
- They were never used to summon people in scripture. Church bells began in the 4th century.
- During WWII the church bells were not allowed to ring. Not until the war was over. I believe the battle is over in many of your situations. There will always be some new ones, but God has heard our prayers for 2012. He has heard your prayers!
- They ring a bell to begin and end the NYSE! I believe in 2012 the exchange has begun! Expect the transfer of wealth or increase!
- The Liberty Bell was used after the Civil War as a means to heal the nation of it's wounds. I am believing for healing to begin in our nation in 2012! God unite the United States of America!
